About the Role
Essential Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a specialised Machine Learning role
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch
- Candidates must demonstrate experience covering the full ML lifecycle, from data preprocessing and model development to deployment and monitoring in a production environment
- Skilled in assessing, selecting, and tuning machine learning models
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional software engineering teams in a distributed and agile environment
- Fluent in technical English for documentation and team communication
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with additional ML libraries such as scikit-learn, Keras, or XGBoost
- Exceptional communication abilities and a talent for collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Additional Technical Skills: Google Cloud, Big Query, Vertex AI, LangChain, LLMs, Typescript, Docker, Cloud Computing
- Prior experience in the Fintech, Travel, or Marketing sectors
Responsibilities
- Design and develop machine learning models to address key business challenges in transaction enrichment and geospatial services, ensuring they are scalable and production-ready.
- Lead machine learning projects from conception to deployment, defining project scopes, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Stay at the forefront of machine learning advancements, implementing cutting-edge algorithms and techniques to maintain competitive advantage in data enrichment services.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership in machine learning to a team of software engineers, improving team capabilities and driving innovation.
- Ensure the ethical use of data, adherence to privacy regulations, and application of responsible AI principles throughout all machine learning initiatives.
